⚡WEEKLY WEIGH IN RESULTS⚡
Starting Weight: 298.8lbs
Current Weight: 242.6lbs
This Week: -12.4lbs
Last week I was still holding onto an extra +6.8lbs of inflammation from a food reaction – this is a reflection of getting that under control but also not feeling too well this week and not eating much. Today is the first day in a few weeks I haven’t felt like a zombie… Or as this cute little meme put it:
“I’m not an early bird or a night owl, I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.”
Either way – onwards and downwards!

If you aren’t familiar with my situation, basically I live with several autoimmune issues… an “inflammatory overstimulation response” brought on by my basic blood cells thinking they are Spartan Warriors and attacking everything in sight.
[Mast Cell Activation Syndrome or MCAS is a main one but also fun things like Fibromyalgia, POTS, Histamine Intolerance, Insulin Resistance and on and on… ]
This is not water weight, not sodium retention and it doesn’t go away until the cells calm down and the actual muscle inflammation decreases. Everything swells – my muscles, my organs, my eyes…
Foods, chemicals, weather changes, environmental elements… literally, sometimes just existing fires them up. Some things I can control and otherwise it is a #justkeepswimming kinda life.

MAST CELL ACTIVATION SYNDROME
Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome
WHY “NATURAL FLAVORS” ARE A NO NO FOR ME
CARRAGEENAN (Another big no no)
6 MONTH UPDATE
For those of you not familiar with my situation – this is my life… Wild weight swings that vary according to the weather, food reactions, autoimmune flares etc… Do you see how many times I have hit my -50lbs just this year?
Weight loss is not like this for most people but it is normal to experience losses, gains and maintains all along the way, even when you are doing everything right…
Keep on keeping on… The time is going to pass regardless – it’s what we do with it that counts…
