Other then being a little stiff this morning when I got up, I am all good to go. After having an entire day out yesterday, this is unheard of territory for me. Normally it takes the entire next day of resting to recover from being out just for a few hours.

Yesterday before I went out, I decided to marinate some chicken wings so I had those for lunch today. The pickle juice marination was okay but not something I would do again but the Shawarma marinade was very nice.

I also went ahead and ordered my bed. Ashley’s Furniture is running a Labor Day sale and the frame set that I had been looking at was actually out of stock at Big Lots so I couldn’t order it.

Then I noticed that it was supplied by Ashley’s so I went to their website and found the perfect compromise. I really liked the design of the white one with lights but not the fact that it was white but then I found on the Ashley site this rustic frame set with the lights and was thrilled.

They also had a very similar mattress to what I had picked out at Big Lots… it’s actually a better mattress and was only $30 more because of their sale.

None of it is going to be here for at least another three weeks but I am very excited for it to arrive.

I did my Kroger Frugal Finds Healthy Haul video which is here – https://youtu.be/_CDSbC52fgM

Hmmmmmmm…. Okay kids – do as we say, not as we do…. (pre check and pretrack things BEFORE eating a 6oz punnet of yummy Blackberries that turned out to be super high oxalates)

And boy can I feel it… Further confirmation this is the right track – I got burning hands and feet, muscle stiffness, suddenly super tired/no energy…

Wow! I am learning so much that NO ONE has ever mentioned. 11 specialists and 4 doctors since 2017 and I didn’t even know what an oxalate was until a few weeks ago yet I am 95% sure it is an even bigger part of my issue than histamines!

🍒 Tracking – Calorie Command in ℹ️ @iTrackBites

🍽️ GOAL – 3 to 4 salad plate meals (no regular big plates, no OMAD [one meal a day] ) – smaller meals to reduce the amount of histamine triggers consumed at one time and limit reactivity during the reintroduction trial phases.

HISTAMINE SCALE
🟢 – contains only Lvl 0️⃣ histamine foods
🟡 – contains some Lvl 1️⃣ histamine foods

If you aren’t familiar with my situation, basically I live with several autoimmune issues… an “inflammatory overstimulation response” brought on by my basic blood cells thinking they are Spartan Warriors and attacking everything in sight.

This is a free PDF list but has not been updated since 2016 – It is a great place to start.

🍓 FOOD INTOLERANCE APP (look for the strawberry)
I just discovered this app and it is more than worth the $6.99 – it is a more updated version of the PDF list above. It contains more information than you can shake a stick at.

OXALATE APP I AM USING
The best option I have found is from the same developers as the Histamine app. It is an Apple only app but it looks like it is going to be very helpful. The basic color system (low/med/high) rating is free but if you want actual numbers, it is also $6.99

MY TOP 3 WORST INFLAMMATION TRIGGERS
These are not the same for everyone and in 90% of people they don’t trigger a reaction – but if you are constantly dealing with being bloated, headaches, muscle or joint pain or digestive distress – they may be worth considering as potential inflammation triggers.
